This was another one of those cards where the real challenge was coming up with a layout that did justice to the colouring. The flower blocks strip was created during one of the Daily Marker 30 Day Coloring Challenges, way back in March 2015, and had been sitting in my PHD (projects half done) box since then.
It all came together once I’d decided to use the scallop border die and thought to layer it over some vellum. Interleaving the glitter tape and delicate hello with the vellum finished the card off nicely. Nearly forgot about the white dots… it’s surprising how much a simple line of dots can add to a design.
