Blank card: Eyelash lines

Eyelash lines

What:

My second card today, as I wanted to create something more in keeping with the type of lines that Kathy demonstrated for day 1 of The Daily Marker Pop-up Challenge.

How:

Random lines drawn in marker on some regular cartridge paper and coloured in with Tombow markers (I really need to get some more colours). The hardest part was choosing the right area to die cut out, but once I had, I added in all the tiny eyelash lines.

I die cut a piece of black card for a mat and glued both flat to a pearlised white card base, trimming off the corners that overlapped the sides of the card. Then I added the white eyelash lines around the border of the coloured panel.

The last element was a scattering of Doodlebug sprinkles on a diagonal across the card.

Supplies:

  • dies:
    Spellbinders – labels 24
  • pens:
    Faber-Castell – PITT artist pens – black
    Uni-ball – Signo UM-153 – white
  • colour:
    Tombow – dual brush pens
  • embellishments:
Doodlebug – sprinkles – fall assortment
  • paper and card:
Papermill Direct – pearlised – ultra white
