2024 – Crafty Rat

These are all the things that I made in 2024: handmade cards and artwork in the form of experiments in stitch and textile, along with some collage. I joined Stitch Club from TextileArtist.org at the end of last year and started doing more embroidery and stitch-related artwork. There are some things I made in 2024, but haven’t got around to blogging about yet; those have placeholders below for now.

Handmade Cards

I am still sticking with my trimmed-down list of people I have to make handmade cards for. Though, I did have a handful of extras to make thanks to some milestone birthdays (a 20th, a 40th and a 60th) scattered throughout the year. Low energy and a lack of enthusiasm led to me deciding to “shop my own card stash” for a lot of Christmas cards, but I still made fourteen new ones and had ideas for a lot more.

All the things that aren’t handmade cards. This year that has been either collage or Stitch Club projects, with a little bit of my own paint & stitch thrown in right at the end of the year.
