The Daily Marker 30 Day Colouring Challenge

tdm30dcc-sept

I think we’re up to the eighth colouring challenge hosted by the inimitable Kathy Racoosin over at The Daily Marker. I still don’t know how she manages it, even with the help of her team of Goodwill Ambassadors on Instagram. And this year she’s doing a Coloring Challenge Road Trip as well!

I shall be taking part in the challenge as per usual. Aiming to colour every day, but not stressing too much if other stuff gets in the way. I’m also taking the pressure off by not planning on making lots of cards during the challenge; there are a few family birthday cards that need making during September, but apart from that I will just be accumulating colouring for future use. Well, that’s the plan anyway.

I have a few specific ideas I want to try — the challenge is a great excuse to get around to those “must try” things — and I know that a quick look through my notebook will soon remind me of others.

I have a stack of printed digi stamps and enough unused stamp sets that there is absolutely no chance I will even come close to running out of things to colour.

I’m thinking of maybe doing quick round-up posts every week or so here, but then I thought about doing that last time and it never happened 🙂 So if you want to see what I’m up to, the best thing is to go look on Instagram.

  1. Good luck in your coloring! I only managed to do one challenge…I just don’t have enough time! I have made so many birthday cards over the past two months, and next month I will be taking a vacation. With work, I just can’t plan on time every day…..as much as I want to! Looking forward to seeing your coloring images! 🙂

    1. The idea is to try and make a little time for colouring each day, even ten minutes. Of course, I keep telling myself that and still end up spending an hour completing something! At least I have managed to ignore the bit of my brain that says “go on, put it on a card now” 🙂

    1. I don’t really have a plan, other than to try and shrink the pile of unused stamps and digits down to a less embarrassing size 🙄 I ought to practise a bit with my pencils, but I’m enjoying the Copics too much at the moment, maybe later in the month…
